Democratic duty

When a government-owned or a government-linked company pays ridiculously high salaries and perks to its chief and senior executives, peoples representatives should take the chief executive of state government or the chief executive of the federal government concerned to task. This is an obligatory democratic duty on the part of the peoples' representatives.
