Early in life, one would be confronted with rejection and failures. One comes to terms with one's severe lack of resources when seen against one's lofty ideals and ambitions. One appreciates quickly that perfection is a dream, and reality puts a limit to probable achievement of such a dream. Of course, one also learns that hopes, wishes and faiths are vital elements in driving someone into uncertain future where any idea of achievement and success is to be found.
To be sure, reality could be extended beyond the normal confines of the past, the present and, of course, the uncertain future. It could be characterised by much more things than those readily seen, heard, smelt, tasted and felt by one's senses. That is where imagination and dream can come in handy.
