Doing the right thing -- and doing it right

A cleaner may be 'doing the right thing right' for the company that hires her and, let me add, for her beloved 'nation of supportive relatives, caring neighbours, sympathetic friends and humanity-loving well-wishers -- and for her motherland that is 'filthily rich' in resources. However, she may not be doing the right thing for herself and her family, let alone doing it right. This is especially so if she is paid a salary that is lower than the government-declared poverty line!
But, who cares? Her political representatives? NGO's
